Homeroom Representatives Bylaws
_Responsibilities:
· Attend ALL full Student Council meetings, or arrange with the alternate to attend. Present ANY Ideas/Opinions to the Student Council(via Google Groups, email, or talking in person)
· Shall report information from meetings to homeroom (excluding certain items with special directions)
Powers:
· Propose any projects/ideas that may improve/help the school and student body
· Have a VOICE and VOTE at meetings
· Be allowed to form committees as appointed by the President
Shall be removed from office if:
· Receiving a D or F in a progress report/report card
· Receiving a U in a progress report/report card
· Failure to perform the responsibilities described above
· At the discretion of the Principal or Advisors
Alternative Representatives:
· Must be ready to take place of the Homeroom Representative at all times
· If the Homeroom Representative resigns office before the end of their term, the Alternate Rep becomes the Homeroom Rep, and a new Alternate Rep is chosen.
Qualifications Regarding Incentives/Privileges
Qualifications to attend year-end celebration:
· Must have consistently performed all responsibilities described above
· May not have failed to attend 2 meetings/semester without reasonable excuse and alternate
Qualifications regarding Homeroom Representative T-shirt:
· Must have consistently performed all responsibilities described above
· One Homeroom Rep T-shirt will be given per Homeroom, per semester, for the representative. If the Homeroom Rep is to resign from/is removed from office before the end of their term, then their T-shirt shall be revoked by Student Council.
