Spirit Day Results

Please submit your homeroom's results for Earth Spirit Day by Saturday, April 28, at 8:00PM. Remember to double- and triple-check your answers because if you submit incorrect data, or if you submit the results after the deadline, your homeroom may be disqualified.

EXAMPLE:

I am the Homeroom Rep for Mr. Smith's 7th grade class in Room 16. On Crazy Hair Day, there were 33 people in class because we had 1 absence. 15 people had crazy hair, and Mr. Smith also participated. To calculate the number of points Mr. Smith's class should get:

First, divide the number of people that participated by the total number of people in class.
Then, multiply that number by 10.
If the teacher participated, add 1. If they did not participate, do not add or subtract anything. 
Finally, round to the nearest tenth.
     If there is a 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9 in the hundredths place, round up.
     If there is a 0, 1, 2, 3, or 4 in the hundredths place, round down.

15 / 33 = 0.454545...

0.454545 x 10 = 4.545454 

4.545454 + 1 = 5.545454
5.545454 -> 5.5
     6.35 -> 6.4
     8.64 -> 8.6
